Kathua Campus (JU) organizes 6th Hands on Training on Information Technology

University of Jammu organized 6th hands-on training on Information Technology under dynamic educational series. The students of Government Higher Secondary School Budhi visited Kathua Campus for an enriching industrial visit. The aim of the visit was to provide students with practical insights into the world of innovation and development. The students engaged in interactive sessions with faculty members of the Campus, where they had the opportunity to learn about various disciplines and career prospects in the field. During the visit, the students were given a comprehensive tour of the campus, accompanied by faculty members and campus students who provided valuable insights into the state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure available at Kathua Campus. The students witnessed first-hand conducive learning environment provided by the institution. The exchange of ideas and experiences served to inspire and motivate the students, encouraging them to explore their interests and pursue academic excellence.

Prof. Arvind Jasrotia, Rector, Kathua Campus, University of Jammu in his message emphasized the importance of such educational initiatives, as educational visits served as a platform for students to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world applications. He further said that by organizing these visits, the campus aims to inspire the next generation of engineers and innovators. He also encouraged the students to pursue their passion for higher studies and aspire towards academic excellence. He added that such interactions not only broadened their horizons but also instilled in them a sense of enthusiasm and determination to excel in their academic pursuits. Prof. Jasrotia reiterated that Kathua Campus is committed for providing quality education and fostering innovation to empower students with the knowledge and skills required to meet the challenges of the ever-evolving technological landscape.
