JU organizes Rovers and Rangers Orientation Programme

P.G. Department of Education organized the Rovers and Rangers Orientation Programme for students and scholars of the Department today. The resource person was Mr. Haroon Malik, from Jammu & Kashmir Bharat Scouts and Guides. The orientation focused on the purpose and functioning of Scouts and guides for community welfare. Recently, awards from president for performing best in adverse situations bring laurels’ to Bharat Scouts and Guides. It helps in building confidence and self-esteem among the students. During the orientation programme, they learn important life skills, team building, outdoor adventure, education and fun. It helps them to explore, to discover the world beyond the classroom and also helps in all-round development. Certificates awarded help in getting jobs as there are points for the same.
