All India Inter University Wushu (M & W) Championship 2023-24
The ongoing All India Inter-University Wushu (M&W) Championship2023-24 entered third day. The Sanda & Taolu (Men and Women) Competitions were held at the University Gymnasium Hall being organized by the Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu.
Prof. Alka Sharma Director SIIEDC, University of Jammu was chief guest on the occasion alongwith Mr. Suhel Ahmed Chief Jury Member and Dr. Sumita Sharma, President JUOWA at Gymnasium Hall University of Jammu. Prof. Alka Sharma interacted with the players and officials 
of Taolu Event of Wushu and appreciated their performance.
Today, University of Jammu team won different medals in Taolu events:
In Shnangalo: Pushapkant Sharma Silver Medal, Simran Magotra (Bronze Medal),
Karun Ghale (Bronze medal), Shubam Kumar Sharma (Silver Medal) (Xingyiguan) Mehak Thakur (Bronze Medal) Shnangjian
The bouts of Round 2nd in Sanda (M) in all 11 weight categories were conducted whereas in women Sanda event, the bouts of third Round were conducted. The All India Inter-University Wushu (M&W) Championship 2023-24 was conducted under the direct supervision of Dr. Daud Iqbal Baba, Director Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu.
