Group Discussion organized at JU's Dept of Law

To commemorate the vision of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi regarding Viksit Bharat@2047 with Voice of Youth' initiative, which aims to integrate our youth to build a developed India , Department of Law, University of Jammu today i.e20th December 2023 organized a group discussion on the above cited subject.

Students discussed different sub themes like Empowered Indians, Thriving and Sustainable Economy, Innovation, Science and Technology, Good Governance and Security, India in the World, which was conducted under the able guidance of Professor Savita Nayyar .Professor Satinder Kumar Head and Dean Faculty of Law was the Chief guest in this event .About 16 to 17 students participated in the group discussion and suggestions were also shared on these themes.

Addressing on this occasion, Head of the Department, Professor Satinder Kumar asked the youth to work for self-reliance and nation building. Professor Savita Nayyar, Convener NSS and Coordinator Viksit Bharat @2047 Dept of Law also addressed the youth and said that the young generation has an important role in building our society and our nation. Appreciating all the students who participated in this program, she said that today's discussion and suggestions on important topics related to Viksit Bharat@ 2047 are commendable . At the end, Avinash Choudhary, student of the first semester of the Law Department, presented vote of thanks and expressed that such programs are a source of inspiration and motivation for all the students.

Along with this, it was requested that in the coming times too, such programs will continue to be organized by the department, which will be beneficial for the youth not only in getting education but also in understanding the social and political system.
