P.G. Department of Commerce, University of Jammu in collaboration with Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTC), University of Jammu organized the two-Week Online Refresher Course in Commerce and Management to enhance the skills and knowledge of professionals and educators. In the inaugural ceremony Prof. Hardeep Chahal, Convener, extended a warm welcome to participants and expressed her enthusiasm for this initiative. Dr. Harleen, Deputy Coordinator briefed the participants about the general instructions to ensure a smooth and enriching learning experience. Dr. Sandeep Pandita, Director MMTC, University of Jammu, elucidated the critical importance of teacher training in advancing educational excellence and professional development. The inaugural session was hosted by Dr. Vishal Gupta, which brought together 55 participants from different Institutions/Universities across the different states of India and resource persons across the globe, setting the stage for a transformative learning experience.
The second session of the day started with a Lecture by Prof. R.D. Sharma, former Vice Chancellor University of Jammu and Noida International University, G. Noida, on the topic “Research Methodology-A Never Ending Process” wherein he provided insight on the process of research methodology. Ms. Mehak Gupta hosted this session
The third session was taken by the resource person, “Prof. Versha Mehta, Dean Faculty of Business Studies, University of Jammu, wherein she enlightened the participants about the background and current details of the “National Education Policy (NEP)”. Ms. Ragini Gupta coordinated the third session.
During the last session of the Two Week online Refresher Course in Commerce & Management, Dr. Harleen Kaur Deputy Coordinator and Dr. Rupa Mahajan Session Coordinator informed the participants about the guidelines to be followed while making the PowerPoint presentation, the duration of the presentation, number of slides required for the presentation and other necessary information about presentation The session concluded with interaction and discussion with the participants.
