JU organizes Induction-cum-Orientation Program at Girls’ Hostel Premises

An induction-cum-orientation program was organized at Girls’ Hostel Premises, University of Jammu. The program aimed at sharing necessary information and making new boarders acquainted about hostel life. This informative event was attended by a large number of female boarders and staff from the entire Girls’ hostels.

Provost Girls’ Hostel, Prof. Shashi Manhas elaborated the University regulations and told the boarders about the hostel life and to adhere to the rules and regulations of Girls Hostels. She urged the boarders to cooperate with the Hostel administration  so that a family type of atmosphere is generated  and boarders do not feel any difficulty while pursuing their careers and, she also urged upon them to lead life with good values. Dr Pallavi Sachdev, Warden, Priyadarshini Girls Hostel and In-charge Warden, Chandrabhaga Girls Hostel; Dr Chinmoyee Maharana, Warden, Sarojini Naidu Girls’ Hostel and New Girls Hostel; Dr Skarma, R/Warden, PDGH; Dr Samriti, and Dr Radhika, R/Wardens New Girls Hostel (NGH); Ms Anjali, R/warden, CBGH, Office assistants, Mrs Seema, Mrs Rupinder, Mrs Dimple and Mrs Jyotsna participated in the event. 

The proceedings of the program were conducted by Dr Chinmoyee and formal vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Skarma.
