The Dhanvantri Library, University of Jammu, successfully concluded a month-long internship program designed for Master of Library and Information Science (MLIB) students from the Department of Library and Information Science, University of Jammu. This intensive program aimed to provide participants with hands-on experience in key areas of library operations.

Database Creation and Weeding Process
Dr. Vikram Singh Sahi, In-Charge Librarian, distributed certificates to the interns at the closing ceremony. Expressing his satisfaction with the program's outcome, Dr. Sahi commended the library staff for imparting invaluable knowledge to the students, enabling them to deliver effective user services in today’s digital landscape.
The event was attended by senior functionaries of the Jammu University Library system, including Sh. Rakesh Kumar, Deputy Librarian, Mrs. Nimmi Suri, Mrs. Azmit Begum, Sh. Jasjeet Singh, Mrs. Neelam Bhagat, Mrs. Babita Jamwal, Mrs. Veenu, and Ms. Diksha, all of whom contributed to the successful execution of the program.
The internship was organized under the supervision of Dr. Anita Sachar, Senior Assistant Librarian and Convenor, Department Liaisoning Committee.
