JU organises awareness program on National-level Research Paper Writing competition on 'Vision for Viksit Bharat'

The Department of Geography, today organised an awareness program on National-level Research Paper Writing competition of Bhartia Shiksha Mandal Yuva Ayam on the theme 'Vision for Viksit Bharat'. After the research paper writing competition, a three-day Akhil Bharatiya Convention of selected researchers will be organized from 15th to 17thNovember 2024, at S.G.T. University, Gurugram, Haryana.

 The main objective of this competition and three-day Convention is to enable and inspire the youth to make their valuable contribution related to every field of nation-building in this AMRITKAAL. At the outset, Dr. Rajender Charak enlightened the students regarding the competition and also encouraged them to participate in it. 

Dr. Shashi Prabha, Head Department of Geography discussed in detail with the P.G Students about ‘Viksit Bharat’ and Viksit Bharat 2047 which represents the government’s vision to transform the county into a developed nation by its 100th independence in 2047. The four pillars of Viksit Bharat are Yuva (Youth), Garib (Poor), Mahila (Women) and Kisan (Farmers). She emphasized the crucial role of youth in transforming the dream of our Hon'ble Prime Minister—making Bharat a developed nation—into reality by using their wisdom and conducting research based on societal needs. The Programme was attended  by  the faculty members of the department, Miss Suman Khushwa, Dr.Davinder Manhas, Dr.Tajinder Kour, Research Scholars and Students of 2nd and 4th Semester of the Department.
