‘Jashn-e-Gulzar’
As a part of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the University of Jammu, The Department of Students Welfare in collaboration with the Department of Urdu, University of Jammu organized ‘Jashn-e-Gulzar’ at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu. Eminent Poet and Writer ‘Gulzar’ was the Chief Guest on the Occasion who recited his choicest poems and mesmerized the audience.
‘Mehfil-E-Ghazal’
As part of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the University of Jammu, the Department of Students Welfare organized ‘Mehfil-E-Ghazal’ by Subhash Langeh and Neelam Langeh at Brig. Rajinder Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu.
Brochure of ‘Display Your Talent’ (DYT-2019)- ‘Rang Trang’ released
Prof. Manoj Dhar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu released ‘Rang Trang’ the first ever brochure of ‘Display Your Talent’ (DYT-2019) which is an annual festival of music, dance, theatre, fine arts and literary activities organized by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu. The annual feature Display You Talent was named as Rang Trang-Display Your Talent.
Quawali Concert by Warsi brothers
On the inaugural Day of RangTrang- Display Your Talent- 2019, a Quawali Concert by Warsi brothers in collaboration with SPIC MACAY was organized to mark the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the University of Jammu. The amazing performance by Warsi brothers left the audience spellbound, rather mesmerised them. Warsi Brothers are internationally renowned Indian Quwalli musical group headed by Nazeer Ahmed Khan Warsi and Naseer Ahmed Khan Warsi and other artists of the group include Sameer Ahmed Khan, MD Jabbar Khan, Obaid Ahmed Khan, Ghulam Mehboob, Syed Habib, Sami Ahmed Khan Warsi & Aziz Ahmed Khan.
